We bring new approaches to confront the complexity of ambitious, purpose-driven initiatives
Transformative Actions
MICRO INDUSTRIAL PARKS
We worked with NGO leaders, state-level government officials, and village entrepreneurs to explore how new economic development models that could help the government go beyond assuming the role of providers of services to co-create solutions with a broader range of stakeholders, including villagers. Our work has yielded insights concerning a new governance model for inclusive wealth creation in rural India, now being prototyped in two different states.
COLLABORATIVE LOCAL GOVERNANCE
Working with community-based organizations and national development leaders, we identified barriers and drivers of collaborative governance involving Women’s Collectives, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and Local Administrators. This approach is being prototyped in different states before becoming a new model for building the capacity of leaders to identify and achieve shared goals in their locality.
Knowledge Intersections for Transformative Actions
Over three days, we brought together 80 senior leaders from across sectors and disciplines in the US to explore leap changes at the intersections of food and environment, housing and development, and health and social connections. This convening led to a top US University to invest in a new organization focused on bringing design capabilities to its nursing school and the university more broadly.
EQUITABLE CARE MODELS
We partnered with a leading NGO to understand the landscape of care in rural India and co-create new care models capable of supporting population health goals of reducing health disparities and improving health outcomes for all. Prototyping the resulting model across states is helping the NGO craft policy recommendations for national adoption.
